Subscription Terms

Daily Unload is free to download and free to use, with no trial period to run out. Venting itself is never metered: you can record as many vents as you like, read the raw and clean transcripts, and see the mood and tags on every one, without paying anything.
Daily Unload Premium is an optional auto-renewable subscription, sold through the App Store, that opens your whole history and lifts the limits on the features that read across it.

Once you have more than 10 vents, the older ones are locked on the free tier — not deleted. They stay where they were, on your device and in the synced copy, exactly as you recorded them, and they open again the moment you subscribe. Nothing you have recorded is ever removed because you did not pay, and export stays free at every tier, so you can always take the whole journal with you.
The Ask AI allowance resets on the first day of each calendar month. Unused questions do not carry over.
Price and billing period

Prices are in USD and differ by storefront. The exact price you will be charged, in your own currency, is always shown in the app before you confirm the purchase.
There is no free trial. You are charged from the start of the first billing period, and the free tier is what you get without paying.
Auto-renewal
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price of the plan you are on.
- Renewal continues at the same interval until you cancel.
Managing and cancelling
You can turn off auto-renew, switch plan, or cancel at any time in Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone, or through Apple’s subscription management page.
Cancelling stops the next renewal. It does not end the period you have already paid for — you keep Premium until that period ends — and it does not produce a partial refund for the remainder of the current period. When it ends you return to the free tier: your last 10 vents open, the rest locked until you subscribe again, and the streak and mood widgets go back behind their lock.
Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription. Cancel it through Apple first.
Refunds
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. We have no ability to issue or reverse a charge. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Price changes
If the subscription price increases, Apple will notify you and ask for your consent before the new price is charged. If you do not consent, the subscription will not renew at the new price.
Other terms
Use of the app is governed by our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Purchases are additionally governed by Apple’s Licensed Application End User Licence Agreement.
